Very nice parisian pendulum from fire gilt bronze epoque "Restauration" 1818 Allegory of Wisdom on the finely chiseled feet resting the two-piece socket defined by a acanthus leaf strip is separated, the upper part with a garland adorned which is held by 2 butterflies in the middle is located a rose. On the base of the rectangular body builds on that with numerous floral appliques(garlands, plametten) showcases beneath the dial there is an owl with outstretched wings as a symbol of wisdom, to the watch body is a bowl attached. To the left is a thoughtful-looking woman, unfortunately missing the pen in her left hand. The housing has been completely cleaned, it is in an age-appropriate condition. The likewise gilt, guilloche dial was of a dial painter completely (authentic !!!) repainted by hand. The fine parisian pendulum clockwork hook-lever and half hour (on locking plate) has been completely overtaken by the master clockmaker and runs about 14 days. The offer contains a suitable pendulum and 1 matching key. Dimensions of the clock: height: 33cm width: 23cm depth: 10cm 18
